The EPIX PIXCI A310 Video Frame Grabber acquires images from monochrome or component RGB color, interlaced or progressive scan, from cameras or other video sources, with formats that include RS-170, CCIR, RS343, VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, SXGA, SXGA+, WXGA, WSGA+, and UXGA. Many capture resolutions are available including 1920 x 1080p, 1920 x 1080i, 1280 x 720p, 720 x 480p, and 720 x 576p, using programmable pixel clock frequencies from 12 to 165 MHz.
The PIXCI A310 uses a PCI Express x4 slot for capturing up to 30 bits per pixel of high resolution RGB video. 64-bit memory addressing allows capturing image sequences directly to PC memory for minutes or hours. The XCAP-Std program (sold separately) captures image sequences to hard drive, and performs a wide range of image processing, measurement, and tracking functions.
The XCAP-Lite imaging program, provided with the PIXCI A310, provides software control of image capture and all board functions using an intuitive Capture and Adjust dialog.
