The Fujifilm FinePix T550 Digital Camera is a compact point-and-shoot camera featuring a 16MP 1/2.3" CCD sensor for high quality imagery and HD 1280 x 720 video. A built-in 12x optical zoom lens offers a wide range of focal lengths to suit shooting in most conditions and a fast autofocus system allows you to work quickly and intuitively. Image composition and playback is possible on the rear 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor and a system of automatic scene recognition modes (SR AUTO) helps to achieve optimized exposure settings for the situation in which you are photographing. Advanced Filters and other imaging features are also available to further enhance the aesthetic quality of your photographs.
- 16MP 1/2.3" CCD Sensor and HD Movie Recording
- A 16 megapixel CCD sensor provides impressive image quality, low-light sensitivity to ISO 3200, and supports HD video recording in the 1280 x 720 format at 30fps. Movie recording is accessible through a dedicated button and in-camera editing functions, such as movie trimming and movie joining, are available.
- Fujinon 12x Optical Zoom Lens
- The 12x optical zoom Fujinon lens gives a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-288mm, providing a wide range of focal lengths to cover most everyday shooting applications. This zoom range can also be effectively doubled through the use of Intelligent Digital Zoom. Lens-shift-type image stabilization is available, too, for reducing the appearance of camera shake that can become increasingly noticeable when working with longer focal lengths.

- A 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor provides a large, bright screen for live view monitoring, image review, and clear menu navigation.
- Six Advanced Filters are incorporated to further enhance the aesthetic quality of imagery, including: Pop Color, Toy Camera, Miniature, Partial Color (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple), Soft Focus, and Cross Screen.
- Individual Shutter 3D captures two exposures of the same scene and saves them together in the MPO file format in order to produce an image that mimics a stereo image process.
- Motion panorama mode allows you to record expansive views up to 360° wide in a seamless, sweeping manner.
- Face Detection optimizes photographs of people by detecting and biasing exposure and focus settings faces present within the scene.
- Blink Detection and Smile & Shoot modes also enhance pictures of people by helping to ensure subject's eyes are open and they are smiling at the time the shutter is released.
- Tracking autofocus utilizes face detection methods, too, to follow moving subjects throughout busy environments to ensure consistent focus.
- Natural Light & with Flash automatically records two images (one with flash, one without) for those instances where you can't decide the better way to photograph in darker situations.
