The Chauvet Scorpion Burst GB Scan Graphic Laser is designed for live entertainment situations such as DJing, concerts, night clubs, and other venues.
The laser integrates both a scanning graphic laser and a room-filling burst laser into one compact unit. The laser utilizes both a blue and a green diode to project up to 24 integrated graphic effects that are spread throughout the room by the burst filter. A controllable motor allows you to achieve evolving dynamic effects that will work both with or without fog.
You can send control messages to the unit over 11 channels of DMX to adjust the control mode, pattern, color selection, color changing speed, zoom, x-axis roll, y-axis roll, z-axis roll (rotate), x-axis pan, y-axis tilt, and pattern rotation. Alternatively you can control the laser with the included infrared remote, select from a variety of pre-programmed automatic settings using the back numerical display, set the unit to master/slave mode, or trigger the laser using the unit's built-in microphone. Multiple lasers can be daisy chained together to save on power cabling.
The laser's lightweight construction, compact form factor, and adjustable hanging bracket allows you to hang it from overhead and the numerous control options enable you to design a laser effects display that complements your performance.
