This lightweight, fully portable system can be used in any environment and produces high-quality photographs in minutes. The M403R camera has been redesigned to make it even easier to take great ID photos. The new electronic shutter mechanism offers improved reliability and eliminates visible vignetting. Improvements made to the interior of the camera reduce veil and glare and significantly improve image contrast.

- An easy-to-use LCD panel allows you to set the camera to take four identical portraits, two pairs of identical portraits, or four individual portraits on one sheet of film. No special accessory lens caps are needed.
- Four "AA" batteries power the built-in electronic flash unit, the shutter, and the sonar rangefinder.
- A portrait counter keeps track of how many photos you have taken, and the camera alerts you with an audible "beep" and a "film pull" icon on the LCD screen when it is time to pull the film from the camera.
- The sonar rangefinder ensures that the camera is at the correct distance from the subject for sharp, clear images.
- Multi-element glass lens
- Adjustable aperture f/8-f/32 with ½-stop increments.
- The camera is equipped with an auto power-off feature that powers down the camera after two minutes of inactivity to save battery life.
- A 6V power adapter is also available as a separate accessory in either 110V or 220V.
- A removable film holder allows you to switch between using black-and-white or color film without wasting a single film sheet, even when you are in the middle of using a pack of film.
- The camera also has an x-sync socket for use with auxiliary strobes and a universal tripod mount.
