Overview
  • 1Description

The Padcaster & Lenscaster Deluxe Kit is available exclusively from B&H. The Padcaster is a lightweight, brushed aluminum frame for your iPad 2nd, 3rd or 4th Gen with several 1/4-20 and 3-8/16 threaded holes around the edges. The Padcaster can also be attached to a tripod, monopod or shoulder mount. Using the Lenscaster, you can attach the .43x wide-angle lens to widen the angle of view or the 2.2x telephoto lens to narrow the angle of view.

The Padcaster, Lenscaster and lenses are complemented by a suite of accessories to enhance audio and lighting for your video work. The shotgun microphone and boompole can be used to improve audio capture, while the fuzzy windbuster fits over the mic to reduce wind noise. Included in-ear headphones allow you to monitor audio or listen to recorded sound. The on-camera LED light can be attached to the Padcaster via its 1/4-20 thread to provide bright, 5600K daylight light.

The kit also includes an adapter for connecting a guitar or bass to a Mac, iPhone 5/4/4S, iPad 1st/2nd/3rd/4th Gen, iPad mini or iPod touch 5th gen. This allows you to record music and use guitar amps and effects in Apple's GarageBand software or other compatible applications.
