Featuring a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, the Snapit 2.1MP Dome Camera from Digital Watchdog captures high-definition and accurate images with the help of built-in WDR technology. The 2.8-12mm varifocal lens captures a wide area and can zoom in on a specific area for clear images of faraway subjects. This dome camera captures resolutions up to 1080p at 30 fps to enable high-quality playback and has the ability to compress video using H.264, MJPEG, or MPEG-4 codecs to fit your needs. You can also stream up to two different codecs at once.
With a mechanical IR-cut filter and IR LEDs, the camera provides true night vision up to 70'. In order to produce a clearer image in total darkness, smart IR technology helps eliminate glare and white spots caused by the IR LEDs. In addition, Smart DNR 3D technology further improves images in low light by cleaning electronic noise signals to generate a clearer, sharper image.
The camera can be powered with an Ethernet cable thanks to PoE technology and is ONVIF-compliant for a wide range of compatibility with ONVIF devices. Video can be stored on a locally on a microSD card up to 32GB (available separately).
