The Yamaha RX-V575BL 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiver features a full discrete amp configuration that supports 7.2-channels of surround sound with up to 115W of power per channel. It's compatible with both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio decoding. Plus, all channels are equipped with 192 kHz / 24-bit Burr Brown DACs, as well as low jitter PLL circuitry for optimized sound imaging. The RX-V575BL features five HDMI inputs and an HDMI output that support 4K pass-through, 3D pass-through and CEC functionality. It also provides AirPlay streaming with the AV Controller app, as well MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) for sending up to Full HD 1080p video and multi-channel audio through the receiver and onto a compatible HDTV.
The RX-V575BL has a variety of other connectivity options. There are multiple analog video and audio connections, as well as dual optical and coaxial digital audio inputs. There is also a network RJ-45 Ethernet jack and a front panel USB port where you can hook-up your iPod, iPhone, iPad USB thumb drive or other USB-equipped digital music player. The USB port will display your iPod, iPhone and iPad song titles on the front panel display as well. And, the RX-V575BL supports charging of your iPod, iPhone or iPad via USB - even when the receiver is off. When using the AV Controller app, you can easily operate various functions from your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Android mobile device. For added flexibility, the app supports 18 different languages as well.
Yamaha equipped the RX-V575BL with two additional channels of audio and an extra subwoofer output. This 2.1-channel setup can be used for Zone B output of your audio signal into a second room, while still leaving the main unit 5.1-channel surround sound. The system also supports FLAC or WAV 192 kHz / 24-bit audio playback, as well as HDMI CEC for control and powering up of compatible TVs and Blu-ray disc players. The RX-V575BL features a compressed music enhancer as well, which improves the sound quality of MP3 files and other compressed music files. Plus, the receiver affords YPAO sound optimization for automatic speaker setup. There are also multiple SCENE buttons. And, it even features an Eco-mode for energy conservation. The system works with optional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth adapters as well.
