The red Nikon COOLPIX L820 Digital Camera features a 16MP CMOS sensor, a 4-120mm f/3.0-5.8 NIKKOR Lens and an EXPEED C2 image processing engine for capturing high-quality still photos and Full HD 1080p videos, even in low light situations. The 30x optical zoom NIKKOR glass lens has both super-telephoto and wide-angle capabilities. Zoom in for highly detailed close-ups, or zoom out and bring the whole scene into the frame. The camera's ergonomic design features a larger grip and 3" LCD for improved comfort, speed and control.
- Compact with a 30x Zoom
- Despite its compact body, the COOLPIX L820 contains a 30x optical zoom for wide-angle 22.5mm to super-telephoto 675 mm coverage (35mm format equivalent). A 4x digital zoom further extends the equivalent focal length up to 2700mm.
- 3" LCD Display
- The 3" TFT LCD display has 921K-dot resolution. The screen's wide viewing angle and color gamut enhance the experience of shooting and playback.
- Full HD 1080p Movie Recording and Playback
- Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution video recording captures your memories at their most beautiful, and the camera's HDMI output connector enables playback on compatible HDTVs.
- Optical VR and Stable Ergonomics
- Nikon's lens-shift VR (Vibration Reduction) achieves sharper-looking still images and videos by compensating for camera shake when shooting, even while zoom is in operation. The handgrip is designed to ensure an extra-firm hold, further minimizing camera shake. An easy-to-hold Side zoom control also helps to stabilize handling.
- Support for Eye-Fi Memory Cards
- Eye-Fi memory cards provide storage for photos and videos like traditional SD/SDHC/SDXC cards; however, Eye-Fi cards feature built-in Wi-Fi connectivity (cards sold separately). The card instantly sends photos to a computer, tablet or smartphone. Once images are safely transferred, card space is freed up automatically.
