The Alesis TransActive Wireless Portable Speaker System is designed to provide portable audio playback from both wired and Bluetooth enabled wireless sources. It features a cradle with a USB port for holding and charging your phone or tablet while streaming audio. In addition to Bluetooth wireless sources, the TransActive has a variety of wired inputs including a combination XLR/TRS input, a 1/4" line/guitar input, and a stereo 1/8" input. Its built-in amplifier and speaker are designed to project your sound more than 150 feet and can be used indoors or outdoors.
The TransActive can be powered by its built-in rechargeable battery for up to 50-hours of playback. It can also be powered by standard AC power with its included power cable. Designed for heavy use, it features a telescoping handle and built-in, recessed wheels for transportation without having to lift the unit. The TransActive can also be mounted on a speaker stand using its standard 35mm socket.
