The Pioneer BDP-150E Multi-Region Blu-ray 3D Disc Player supports 2D/3D Full HD 1080p / 24 Hz output via HDMI. Plus, it's compatible with Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs. And, if you have a large DVD collection, the BDP-150E supports upscaling to Full HD 1080p resolution. It also features Sound Retriever Link and Stream Smoother link, which allow you to enhance compressed audio and video files from a variety of formats. The BDP-150E has an Ethernet port for Internet connectivity and it's also Wi-Fi ready. All you need is the optional AS-WL300 adapter.
Once the player is connected to the Internet, you'll have even more choices for enjoying movies, TV shows and music. You can stream content from a Mac, PC or media server. You'll also have access to services (subscription required for some) including YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Picasa and more. Plus, you can take advantage of the available iControlAV2012 app for iOS or the ControlApp for iOS/Android. Both of these apps allow you to control the Blu-ray player remotely from your smartphone or mobile device.
For other connectivity options, the device affords HDMI and composite video / RCA audio jacks. There are also front and rear USB ports, which allow you to enjoy a variety of content including photos, video and music stored on a USB flash drive. For high-quality audio playback, the BDP-150E features 192 kHz / 24-bit audio DAC, as well as advanced audio decoding including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. With such attention to premium video and audio playback, as well as 3D capabilities and multiple network options, the BDP-150E has the functionality and features to provide plenty of top-class entertainment.
