Hitech's 67 x 80mm 0.9 ND Grad Hard Camera Filter produces a grey neutral tone and is used in photography to reduce light, enabling more control over exposure and depth of field without affecting color contrast. This filter is clear in the bottom half of the filter with a gradual transition to the neutral density effect in the top half. This filter is primarily used for light reduction in skylines of landscape shots. Hard edge grads have a more defined hard lined transition and are usually used for longer focal lengths. The 0.9 filter reduces light by 3. The filter is 67mm wide but 110mm (4.35") long so that it can be moved up and down in the holder to line up the graduation line easily with the horizon.
- 67mm is specifically designed for smaller consumer DSLR lenses and mirrorless cameras
- Fits the Formatt-Hitech 67mm and Cokin A Series holder systems, so a single filter is usable on multiple lenses
- Made from the highest quality optical resin available, with an index of refraction nearly identical to the finest optical glass
- High scratch resistance, low material fatigue, and chamfered corners to resist breakage so the filter will provide years of service
