The desert tan EB1 Backup LED Flashlight from SureFire is a dual-output LED light featuring a 200-lumen output and a shrouded pushbutton tailcap switch. This illumination tool has a power-efficient 5-lumen setting that helps the operator preserve battery life as well as serving as a convenient map light. This shrouded tailcap configuration has a bezel around the dual-function pushbutton switch to prevent accidental activation.
The EB1 housing is machined from aerospace aluminum and finished with an anodized hard coat. Its corrosion-resistant water-sealed housing equips the EB1 for reliable performance in almost any weather condition. Complementing the rugged, Mil-Spec housing, the lamp assembly has a tempered, impact-resistant window that is coated with an anti-reflective optical coating.
This handheld illuminator also features SureFire's total internal reflection (TIR) collimating lens, which allows the operator to adjust the beam diameter for spot and flood lighting. An integrated two-way pocket clip, as well as shallow scalloping along the bezel adds stability and permits peripheral light to shine when the light is placed bezel down. The shrouded tailcap combined with two output modes and SureFire reliability, this EB1 Backup light is ready for tactical and recreational use.
