The SX2110-UR318 Small Form Factor Desktop Computer is one-third the size of a standard desktop tower. At less than 10.5" tall, this Gateway desktop computer has a glossy trim and a soft matte black finish with a chrome logo badge for a unique and compact design. This Gateway desktop computer provides a small footprint, reliable performance and plenty of ports for high productivity and plenty of multimedia options.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.4GHz AMD E-Series E1-1200 accelerated processor. It also has 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB 7200rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, a multi-in-1 media card reader, six USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and a VGA port. There are also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.5mm microphone jack as well as high definition audio with stereo support.
Windows 8 (64-bit) is the installed operating system. Windows 8 replaces the traditional Start menu with a redesigned Start screen. The Start screen features tiles, which provide notifications in real-time. Windows 8 also focuses more on cloud storage as well as apps, which can be downloaded from the Windows Store. Windows 8 provides a unique user experience that differs from previous versions of Windows.
