The LRB 20000GC Long Range Laser Rangefinder Binocular from Newcon Optik is designed for ground surveillance, target observation, and distance measurement of up to 12.43 mi (20km). This rangefinder uses a time-of-flight delay algorithm to ensure accuracy, and a single strong impulse to minimize exposure time. With an angular mount (sold separately), this laser rangefinder binocular can also measure horizontal angles, magnetic azimuth, and vertical angles. The result of distance measurements is displayed through the eyepiece and can be transferred for processing via a computer output. It can be remotely triggered via RS-232 interface.
This robust LRB 20000GC rangefinder can be used in geological and engineering surveys, construction and repair works, maritime navigation, meteorology, and other activities that require accurate long-range distance measuring. Moreover, it incorporates gating functionality to reduce false readings and provide accuracy.
