The 3-Prong Flash Hider and SOCOM Suppressor Adapter from SureFire features a unique design that reduces muzzle flash by more than 99% over a plain muzzle. It can also be used as a mounting adapter for SureFire's SOCOM Series 7.62 mm /.308 Caliber Fast-Attach silencers.

The suppressor is made from US mil-certified heat-treated stainless steel bar stock with a black Ionbond DLC finish. This finish is harder and more resistant to heat than powder-coat, anodized or painted finishes. The rear seal minimizes carbon build-up in the indexing system for easier removal, even after repeated firing. Installation of the suppressor requires no permanent modifications to most rifles. This item comes ready to install in clamshell packaging.
