The silver Pentax MX-1 Digital Camera Basic Kit from B&H contains everything you need to begin shooting: a 16GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-I memory card, a camera pouch, and the compact point-and-shoot digital camera.

The MX-1 Digital Camera features a 12 megapixel 1/1.7" backside-illuminated CMOS sensor to produce high resolution imagery with notable sensitivity to ISO 12800. The built-in smc Pentax 28-112mm f/1.8-2.5 zoom lens (35mm equivalent) covers wide-angle to telephoto perspectives and the fast maximum aperture better-enables low-light shooting and greater control over depth of field. Pentax body-based Sensor-Shift and Pixel Track Shake Reduction systems help to produce sharper imagery by compensating for the effects of camera shake. The MX-1's retro-inspired design, which integrates genuine brass top and bottom plates, also incorporates a 3.0" 920k-dot LCD monitor with a tilting design to better facilitate working from high and low angles. In addition to still imagery, full HD 1080 video at 30fps is also supported and direct playback is possible to an HDTV via the HDMI output.
