The Beyerdynamic M 130 is a dual dynamic ribbon microphone designed for "figure-eight" style recording of vocals or ambiance. The M 130 is popular for recording and broadcasting stereo signal through the use of the M-S (Mid-Side) technique. In addition the figure eight polar pattern makes it ideal for recording background singers. It's double dynamic ribbon design results in exceptional transient response creating detailed sound and transparency.
