The Beyerdynamic DT 190 is a professional, dual ear headset in a gray and black finish, equipped with a dynamic, noise-cancelling microphone attached to a rugged, adjustable swiveling boom.
The DT 190 headset is notable for an extended low and high end frequency reproduction, competitive with that of some of the more elite studio and audiophile headphones. This attribute, in conjunction with the moderate 250 ohm impedance rating of the transducers, ensures an unusually clear and detailed field listening experience.
The adjustable DT 190 headband is nicely cushioned, and the earcups provide up to 20 dB of ambient noise attenuation, thereby improving monitoring isolation and clarity. The highly directional microphone features a frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility in noisy environments.
The DT 190 is designed for use with Telex and Clear-Com intercom systems for live broadcast and film applications. It is also recommended for use at broadcast sporting events by announcers and commentators, as a high quality headset alternative.
