Sennheiser ME66/K6P - Super-Cardioid Short Shotgun Condenser Microphone Capsule with K6P (Phantom Only) Power Supply

The Sennheiser ME66 short shotgun microphone is a popular choice among video, film and ENG / EFP professionals. The capsule features a highly directional, cardioid polar pattern yielding great attenuation at the sides of the microphone while maximizing pick up at the front. The result is a focused pick-up in highly ambient environments. A wide 40-20,000Hz frequency response provides detailed, accurate signal reproduction. This version uses the K6P power supply which is capable of phantom power only. The absence of a battery compartment on the K6P, makes for a much more compact microphone, convenient for mounting to smaller cameras.
