I am using this extension cable to run my GPS in a 2010-2011 Prius. Toyota moved the 12VDC outlet to a lower console for styling purposes (???), but this made all power cords too short for dashboard use. This cable was installed and routed under my dash cover to the driver's side, and fits perfectly. The cable is well made and I would buy another without hesitation, if needed in the future.

This battery extender is incredible. It's unlike any battery extender I have ever seen (because I have never seen one up until now). Anyway check this out. You plug it into whatever you want to extend. Then you plug it in and BINGO!..the item you want to power up turns on. This thing is crazy. If I know anything about extention cords (and trust me I do), this is the one you want to buy. It's really long too so you get extra cord at not extra cost.
