The blue Sony NWZ-W273 W Series Walkman Sports MP3 Player offers an innovative all-in-one design for enjoying your music while working out or swimming. The cordless headphones house a 4GB MP3 player and come with three different size earbuds for optimum comfort. Plus, it's waterproof down to a depth of 6.6' (2m), so you can wear it while you swim. The one-piece design also features a unique band that rests comfortably on the back of your neck for all-day comfort.
If your forget to charge the device before a run, a 3 minute quick charge will give you up to 60 minutes of playback, while a full 1.5 hour charge will give you up to 8 hours of playback. The MP3 player is also equipped with Sony's exclusive Clear Audio Technologies, as well as the ZAPPIN search feature, which lets you navigate through your music collection by playing back main melodies.
The Walkman is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or above and Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Plus, for added convenience, the player lets you drag and drop your audio files from iTunes, Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer. Once your files are loaded onto the Walkman, you can change songs using the multi-function playback buttons, which are conveniently located right on the headphones. Other features include an Automatic Volume Limiter System and multiple play modes.

- With a Walkman, you are never tied to just one music service. You can drag-and-drop MP3s from iTunes, Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer (IE). Multi-format playback also lets you play WMA, AAC or L-PCM music files.
- Storage Capacity
- The NWZ-W273 is compact in size, but can store hours of music thanks to the internal 4GB memory (actual user memory available is approx. 3.54GB).
- Playlist Compatible
- Create your favorite playlists in iTunes for Windows or Windows Media Player and drag them to the Walkman. You can also use the shuffle mode to mix up the songs. There is an All Play mode as well.
- Sony Clear Audio Technologies
- Exclusive Sony Clear Audio Technologies include Clear Stereo and Clear Bass Audio, which provide for deeper, richer sound.
- Quick Charge Battery
- Use the included USB cable to get up to 60 minutes of use on just 3 minutes of charge. On a full charge, you can listen to up to 7 hours of L-PCM (1411 kbps) song files or up to 8 hours of MP3 (128 kbps) song files.
- Navigate Your Song Library
- Searching through your music is simple with the multi-function playback buttons. A quick tap changes songs and a tap and hold changes folders while in all play mode. In playlist mode a quick tap changes songs and a tap and hold changes the playlist.
- Music to Match Your Pace
- Find the perfect music for the moment using the ZAPPIN search feature. ZAPPIN allows you to easily navigate through your song collection by playing back main melodies.
