He is the author of Technical Theater for Nontechnical People, now in its second edition; Technical Film and TV for Nontechnical People, which was honored with the Golden Light Book Award as Film Book of the Year by the Mine Photographic Institute, and Digital Technical Theater Simplified. He lives in Woodland Hills, California.
