B+W 30.5mm UV Haze SC 010 Filter
The B+W 30.5mm UV Haze SC 010 Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. No additional coloration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.

Purchased this filter for use with the Pentax 40mm f/2.8 dedicated lens hood. Since the filter has to be mounted backwards and is quite thick, I was concerned at first that it may contact the lens face when screwing the hood onto the lens; it does not.
I have a number of other B+W filters and have always been satisfied with them. I had no hesitation ordering this one.
