A B&W 30.5mm #102 Neutral Density 0.6 Glass filter has several uses and offers the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. ND filters appear grey and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. They have no effect on color balance.

...I've never had a B&W lens bind up on a lens--as with others...the glass is legendary, and it makes no sense to me to put a cheap filter on my Zeiss lens (in this case a Rollei 35s)...
