The Louroe Electronics AMT-600 Audio Line Driver is a part of a one-way audio monitoring system that uses fiber-optics, telephone wires, RF transmitters, or video modulators for transmission. It takes audio signals from a Louroe microphone and amplifies it to 0 dB at 600Ω (balanced) for input over the desired transmission media (fiber optics cable, etc). It also supplies power to the microphone and drives the audio signals into the transmission medium. An AMT-600 Audio Line Driver is required for each microphone used in the system. All Louroe microphones (Models A, B, C, D, D-V, E, K, and L-DT) are compatible with this audio line driver.
Note: This unit is for one-way listening applications only. When this equipment is used as part of an audio monitoring system, the law requires that the public be given notice of audio monitoring on the premises. A decal notice is included with each microphone shipped.
Wiring Requirements: 2-conductor 22-gauge shielded cable with a 24-gauge drain wire (West Penn 452 or equivalent).
Contains terminal block for receiving wiring connection from remote Louroe microphone
Supplies phantom power to the microphone
Adjustment for level control of microphone output
Receives audio signals from the Louroe Remote Microphone by hard-wire connection and conditions it for transmission over fiber optic lines, telephone wire, RF transmitters, and video modulators (that accept audio)
