I use it when shooting in bright ambient light when the light sensors fail to fire the studio flashes for a tiny fraction of any radio frequency system.
Of course wireless would be far more elegant and getting all the wires up where they won't drag me or the equipment to the floor can be a challenge!
The fit seems a bit loose, but hasn't failed to fire yet.

What can I say? The product does exactly what it says it will do. The center post was slightly off center when I received it, but after pushing it to the center, it now fits just fine.
