About the Author: After a 10-year career at Intel Corporation, Colleen Miniuk-Sperry left her software project management job in 2007 to pursue outdoor photography and writing full-time. Her work has been published in National Geographic calendars, the Arizona Highways magazine, books, and calendars, AAA Highroads, Mushing Magazine, Smith-Southwestern calendars, and a broad variety of other publications. She also leads photography classes for the Arizona Highways Photography Workshops, Arizona Wildlife Federation, Through Each Other's Eyes, and numerous private workshops.
Since 1975, Paul Gill has turned all of his attention to photographing the grandeur of nature. Gill's photographs have graced the cover and pages of the world-renowned Arizona Highways magazine, calendars and books, Natures Best, Smith-Southwestern calendars and postcards, and many other scenic publications, calendars and books. His work has also been displayed in numerous fine art galleries and several pieces are featured within the Smithsonian Museum's permanent collection of nature photography.
