He's been involved writing about music technology and recording since the early days of MIDI and digital audio as a freelance writer for such magazines as Electronic Musician, Music and Computers, Revolution, and MIDI Guitar. In addition he's authored numerous instructional books for Mel Bay Publications. Mark's producing and engineering credits include award-winning CDs for Hawaiian musician Keola Beamer, early music stand-outs the Terra Nova Consort, western singe Lorraine Rawls, and many others.
