The Audio Ltd. Dual miniTX & DX2 System Set (542 to 572MHz) consists of two miniTX transmitters, a DX2 receiver, a 24" (609.6mm) standard output cable (7-pin Binder male to XLR-3M), and two VT500 omni-directional lavalier microphones with Otter Boxes and accessories.
The miniTX Ultra-Mini Transmitter is a compact and lightweight professional UHF transmitter that can be easily hidden in a tiny pouch. Devoid of any switches or menu screens, this slim transmitter can be easily mounted on professionals such as artists, costumers, and sound recordists. This transmitter does not feature switches or menu screens. The IR menu can be navigated by pointing the included SwitchiR key-fob controller on the top of the miniTX Transmitter to adjust all its parameters. The microphone input via a LEMO 3-pin locking connector provides powering that is compatible with most electret lavalier microphones. Powered by 2 AAA-type batteries (sold separately), the transmitter provides up to 5 to 7 hours of transmission and can be turned off simply by removing the batteries.
The DX2 Compact 2-Channel True Diversity Receiver is a UHF wireless receiver specially designed for professional field production applications in sound bags, carts, or when mounted on cameras. The receiver provides an excellent RF range, True Diversity reception across both audio channels and up to 40MHz switching bandwidth. The True Diversity receiver allows switching to take place between two receivers in each channel at the audio frequency stage with no interruption of signal. The intuitive menu uses a blue Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display that is ultra-clear yet consumes very little power. The menu is incredibly intuitive and a snap to work with under pressure in the field. All the important settings are represented by icons on the home screen. The receiver’s audio output and external DC are via a durable Binder 7-pin screw locking connector. Powered by a pair of 1.5 V AA type battery, the receiver can be used up to 4 hours in one go. An external 6 to 18 VDC is connected via the Binder 7-pin connector.
