The ASUS CUBE with Google TV is a media player with an Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system that lets you access a variety of web-based multimedia on your TV screen. It's equipped with Wi-Fi wireless connectivity, but it also provides an Ethernet jack for wired Internet access. It connects to your TV via HDMI and it has two USB 2.0 ports, which you can use to watch media stored on a portable USB drive or USB memory stick. The Google TV-powered device features a Marvell Armada 1500 Chipset and 1GB of RAM for fast multitasking.
The CUBE affords access to over 100,000 movies and TV shows from a variety of entertainment apps including Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, HBO GO, YouTube and more. Plus, an innovative and intuitive user interface lets you categorize your favorite entertainment apps for quick access. The CUBE also provides access to thousands of apps and games through Google Play. Google Chrome is included as well, so you can enjoy full web browsing from the comfort of your couch. And, to help you quickly find the shows and movies you want, the CUBE is equipped with Google TV's PrimeTime search function.
Another highlight of the ASUS CUBE is its unique dual-sided remote control. One side features a full QWERTY keyboard, while the other side offers motion control sensors and a microphone. The motion control sensors let you use the remote as a game controller for motion-based games. The integrated mic allows you to search for content using your voice. You can also download a free remote app to control the CUBE with your Android mobile device. Other CUBE features include 50GB of free ASUS WebStorage, support for YouTube's DIAL protocol and access to a handful of ASUS CUBE-specific apps that will broaden your entertainment options even further.
