A more compact non-rangefinder version of the classic Linhof Master Technika, the Master Technika 2000 comes with wrist strap, folding focusing hood and groundglass grid screen. It does not include the lens, lensboard, grip, fresnel lens or viewfinder
A technical baseboard camera of the highest quality with sturdy die-cast body that closes to compact dimensions. It features a triple extension drop bed, ratcheting lift lever for front standard rise, International Graflock spring back with revolving swing frame a lift-up flap on top of camera housing for increased wide-angle efficiency, a built-in wide-angle focusing track for extreme wide-angle lenses (45-72mm, with limited movement, bed in 3rd notch dropped position) and a removable top finder shoe with additional tripod socket on top for positioning the camera upside down to facilitate lens drop.
Note: This model was originally introduced with a matching, optional electronic rangefinder/viewfinder attachment called an EMS module. Although its "on paper" specifications were very interesting, it proved to be somewhat unreliable and has been discontinued. The Technika 2000 currently has no rangefinder focusing capabilty. All focusing must be done on the groundglass.
