General Brand 1-3/4" Stainless Steel Dial Thermometer
This Stainless Steel Dial Thermometer is made from corrosion resistant steel, and works with tank/tray processing, as well as mixing vessels.
The themometer has a 5" stainless steel stem that fits all developing tanks.
- 1-3/4" dial face (2-1/8 bezel to bezel)
- Has clamp to attach to a tray
- Accurate needle is easy to read with markings of 1° graduations
- Reads both in Fahrenheit and Celsius scales that are accurate to 1°
- The dial is hermetically sealed, making it fog and leak proof
- A range from 25 to 125°F or -5 to 50°C readings
- Can be calibrated
- Made in the USA

Have processed a few hundred rolls in the couple of weeks I've been using this thermometer. So far no leaks (or any other concern), unlike the Weston which it replaced.
Note in listing that gradations are actually 1 deg. C. and 2 degrees F. In practical use you can estimate accurately to maybe .4 or .5 degrees F., more than good enough for b+w film processing.
Stem is somewhat shorter than more expensive alternatives and only really sensitive down near the end, which necessitates some care to always stir solutions thoroughly first. Also note that it's slower to react than some more expensive thermometers (though faster than some others).
For my b+w needs it's been an excellent value and, given my bad experience with a Weston thermometer purchase, I'd buy this one again.

large dial is easy to read. I wish the increments were a little more detailed, for developing C-41. you kinda have to guess where the 102f is.

When compared with other products that perform the same function, this thermometer by Samigon carries its weight with similar products costing two or three times as much. I would definitely rate it the "Best Value" for the money. Will be buying more when needed in our darkrooms.

Used for checking chem temps, so I can adjust the Developer time.
I like the RED 20c/68f mark, and the large easy to read dial.
The stem could be longer, but the beaker clip is a plus.
