The black Omni-Directional Modified Bic Pen Microphone from Microphone Madness incorporates a BIC pen, the outer casing of which is designed for optimal recording performance. Installed at the tip of the pen microphone is a high grade microphone element that is used in the VIPER Binaural Stereo Microphone. A 3' (0.9m) microphone cable with a 90° 3.5mm stereo mini plug exits the bottom of the pen housing, providing flexibility. The pen microphone is well suited for lectures (hands free), live music recording and more.
This microphone has a naturally crisp sound, providing deep bass, smooth mid-range and clean high-range with a frequency response of typically +/- 2 dB. The pen microphone can be easily plugged into any Minidisc, Dat or analog recorder that supplies a bias voltage of between 1.5 to 10 VDC (also known as plug-in power) at the microphone input jack.
