Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
This filter was bought for the 14-150 Olympus Zuiko M lens coupled with a PEN EP-3 micro four thirds camera. It is a well built product that is made in Germany. It has a solid feel to it. The profile is far from thin but it does not produce any noticeable vignetting. It does cause a loss of light, so on most micro 4/3s it should only be used in good bright light. It is a great polarizing filter though and does its job for a decent price.

This circular polarizing filter has good optical quality.
Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
It looks great. The quality of the pictures is comparable to the case using the lens alone. I mean that the filter does not make any distortion.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
I use it in most occasions on mu 50 mm 1.4. More saturated colors and less reflections. Takes time to put on and off and it steals more than one stop. Otherwise fine product.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
Impeccable German construction and quality: the build is solid and the seal sturdy.
I plan to use this filter on my 28 mm f/1.8 and 50 mm f/1.4 Canon lenses to reduce surface glare and bump up sky contrast.
No complaints one of the easiest camera-related purchases I've made; a no-brainer once deciding to purchase B+W.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
I got this filter to go over my 50mm f/1.4 Canon lens. It works really well outside. Only bad thing I have to say is that it's not the greatest when shooting indoors. I wanted to use this filter for enhancement and to protect my lens. I ended up having to go out and buy a UV filter for indoors. Inside, I was getting a darker photo and my aquariums look cloudy. But I do recommend this filter for outdoor photography! :)

Bought this filter with my new Canon EOS Rebel XSi, and took it to Punta Cana with me on vacation. What a difference it makes. Taking pictures of the ocean without it, you just get the surface reflection. With it, you can see the coral reefs under the surface. Also, the colors really pop, and everything looks so much better. Not to mention that the filter protects your valuable lenses.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
I use this with my 50mm 1.4 EFS lens on my Canon 40d. Really helps to reduce glare esp if you're shooting any sort of bodies of water on a sunny day. My main prob with filters is that they don't always stay on the lens firmly. Not a prob with this filter.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
Smooth threading, crystal clear optics and solid construction provide dependable service. Have yet to see stark differences in haze reduction such as those shown here, but I keep this filter on regardless, the protection that it offers is far more important.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
We bought a DSLR to do photos of my framed woodwork, and the filter to help deflect the glare from the glass. Now we use the filter almost all the time. Construction is great, sturdy and neat. Couldn't live without it.... Thanks for a great product.

I just got back from the Caribbean and used this filter while there. I proved to create fantastic pictures; no glare and intense colors. I recommend this filter to anyone looking to shoot water on a sunny day.

Comments about B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter:
B+W are recommended by Leica for use on their lenses and that is good enough for me.
This is the finest polarizer I have ever used. Beautiful, rich color saturation, adjusts level of polarization very nicely.
Constructed from Schott Glass and a brass casing that does not get stuck to the lens mount (for a change).
Try them for yourself, you will be happy with the results.
