Overview
  • 1Description

The Kirk Lens Collar for Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens is a replacement lens collar that is designed to increase stability and rigidity when using the NKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens with a tripod. It features an integrated Arca-Swiss-style base plate for mounting to any compatible quick release clamp and also incorporates one 1/4"-20 socket for use on other styles of tripod heads.

The lens collar design utilizes two contact points to provide maximum lens support, which is reinforced by the durable and lightweight precision-machined aluminum alloy construction. The collar is operable by using the large knurled grip locking ring, which enables smooth, accurate, and quick rotation of the lens for switching between shooting orientations and locking at any position.
