The step up ring was very easy to install and seemed very durable. This adapter ring will allow me to use old filters on my current 18-50mm lens and will save lots of money from not having to buy new filters.

I ordered 52mm - 55mm & 55mm-52mm step-up &down rings.
Very nice rings good weight , didnt go out of round when I dropped it the other day. Use with filters mainly. Had a set of rings, filters & other gear stolden by the TSA while I was in line. Reason for buying this product I had to replaced.

I use this to step up from a 52mm filter thread on a Nikon lens to a 55mm close up filter set I have from my Sony days. The threads were perfect with no burrs at all. I have also used a Bower 49mm to 55mm step up ring and have absolutely no complaints. Excellent product that provides an inexpensive way to use filters on multiple lenses.

A thread adapter ring, with a female 55mm thread and a male 52mm thread; this ring allowed me to use my Panasonic DMW-LT55 telephoto attachment (X 1.7) and my Panasonic DMW-LW55 wide angle attachment (X 0.7) (these I'd previously purchased for use with my Lumix FZ30) on my new Lumix LX5. These were expensive attachments, and purchasing this inexpensive step-up ring keeps them useful on a new camera - Great!
I've had no negatives with this ring and don't expect to have any in the future - it fits, and it does its job.

Nothing special, and it shouldn't be. It's only a step up ring. But it gets the job done well, and I don't ever feel like it's gonna break. I got it to step up so I can add a DIY ring light and it's working fine.
