Avid Media Composer 7 Backup USB is a USB drive that allows you to install Media composer 7 on your computer, instead of downloading it from the web. You receive a USB flash drive with the Avid software. However, you must have a valid license and registration to activate the software.
This is designed for use by those who wish to maintain a separate install capability than relying on a download from the web. Once you have installed the software using the USB drive you must still activate it, using your active registration information.
USB Install Drive
The software on the USB drive allows you to install Media Composer 7 on your system. However, the software will not work, unless you have a valid license to use the software. This USB option is designed as a backup install option, should you need to re-install the software and are unable to download it from the web.
