The Fotodiox Canon FD Lens to Canon EOS Camera Adapter allows you to attach a Canon FD, FL, or FD lens on to Canon EOS camera body. The adapter is specially crafted to endure professional lenses while the leaf spring design ensures that the lens is firmly attached to the camera. With unique styling, the lens mount adapter enhances the professional appearance. This adapter has a built-in 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens to adjust for infinity focus; the glass element can be removed for macro photography. Adapter caps are included to protect the focusing element when not in use.

Note: Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode with EOS body.

Used with Canon EOS 1D,1D Mark II & III, 5D, 5D Mark II, Canon 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, Digital Rebel T1i, XT, XTi, XS, XSi, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, and 1000D cameras 1
