The Sunpak PZ40X II flash combines high-performance features with innovative design. It has been updated to be fully compatible with Minolta ADI metering system camera models.
The unique rounded angles and low-profile provide a more functional design and is the perfect match for current digital and photo cameras. While compatible with the latest TTL functions for 35mm digital and film SLR cameras, power-ratio and zoom setting can also be controlled manually in 5 steps.
Fits all Maxxum cameras (a.k.a. Dynax), except the 7000, 8000, and 9000 non-"i" models.

Comments about Sunpak PZ40X II AF TTL Flash:
Got my PZ40X II day before my daughter's wedding. It performed flawlessly at the evening wedding and reception. Best features are compact size on camera and in bag; light weight; syncs automatically with the z6 auto settings; power zoom head adjusts for varying distances of subjects; only requires 2 batteries. There is no downside to this flash. Great value for the $$.
Comments about Sunpak PZ40X II AF TTL Flash:
When this flash worked it produced excellent results, however, when it malfunctioned the results were terrible. The biggest problem I had was the recycle time. Perhaps Igot bum flash but using top notch lithium AA batteries, theflash sometimes took up to 20 or 30 seconds to recycle. Imissed key shots as a result of this absurdly long refreshrate. I plan on returning this flash and getting thecomparably priced Nikon SB-600. It comes highly recommendedfrom a professional colleague. My advice is to avoid thisflash at all possible costs.
