The Sony WCS-999 provides an affordable wireless solution for video interviews, conferences, lectures, meetings etc. The package provides a portable camera-mount receiver, body-pack transmitter and lavalier microphone. The system operates via the 900 MHz FM band for resulting in high RF performance and extended range of up to 150 feet in ideal conditions. The omni-directional microphone offers a generous pick up at the off-axis sections of the microphone. A single ear piece headphone is provided and attach's to the receiver for accurate monitoring of incoming audio signal. The "Mic Mixing" feature allows a second wired microphone to attach directly to the receiver, the signals are mixed to the output of the receiver.

FM Band Transmission
The WCS-999 operates over the 900 MHz FM band of frequencies resulting in high RF performance and an extended operating range of up to 150 feet in ideal conditions.
Mic Mixing Capability
The receiver's Mic Mixing feature provides an input for a second wired microphone. The signal from the wireless lavalier and wired microphone are then mixed on output.
Microphone Power
The receiver provides power to compatible Sony microphones the require it. This eliminates the need for external batteries.
Omni-Directional Lavalier
The included omni-directional lavalier microphone features a generous pick-up pattern at the off-axis sections of the microphone.
