This 165mm f/4 LS (Leaf-Shutter) lens offers additional flash-sync speeds of 1/60, 1/125, 1/250 and 1/500th sec; The camera body shutter speed must be set to 1/30sec or lower when using the LS lens leaf shutter; Use of the leaf shutter mechanism is not necessary and this lens can function in the manor of standard 67 lenses
