This ultra-slim camcorder records to 8 cm DVD-R/W's and DVD-R dual layer disks that last virtually forever. The CMOS captures video and still images in exacting detail, while the image stabilization system ensures that your videos don't suffer from the "shaky picture" syndrome that has always troubled home videos.

The built-in still camera has all the features of a dedicated digital still camera. In addition, the PictBridge compatibility make it easy to upload and print your still images.

• DVD Recording: Record your memories directly to DVDs. 8 cm DVD-RW's can be recorded on again and again without deteriorating, and DVD-R's will make those memories last forever. A dual-layered DVD can hold up to 120 minutes of video, depending on recording mode.

• Quick Start: The camcorder boasts a start up time of about seven seconds, ensuring you don't miss a single valuable moment.

• Slim Design: At just less than 2" wide, this camcorder can go anywhere you do. The DC-210 is one of the smallest DVD camcorders currently available.

• 2.7" Color LCD Screen: The backlit 2.7" screen swivels out from the camcorder's body to show you exactly what you're shooting. You get great color and detail that won't wash out in bright sunlight.

• 2-channel Dolby Digital Audio: Records your DVDs with digital sound to match your video.

• DIGIC DV Image Processor: Because video and still images have different processing needs, Canon developed the DIGIC DV processor, so your video and stills always look great.

• True Widescreen Video: Unlike some camcorders that stretch a standard 4:3 image, the DC-210 gives you a true widescreen image by using the entire area of its CCD to capture true 16:9 images.

• 35x Optical: 35x Optical zoom brings your subjects closer in perfect detail.

• Digital Image Stabilizer: Canon's advanced electronic image stabilizer smooths out rough shots by reducing shake and jitter. It even works during panning and zooming.

• Program AE: Program Auto Exposure ensures that you get exactly the right settings for your shooting situation. Choose from modes like Sports, Sunset, and Spotlight, or create your own.

• Exposure Metering: For the advanced user, exposure metering allows a choice of center-weighted average, spot metering, and evaluative metering for exactly the right setting in any lighting.

• Built-In Lens Cover: The lens cover is built right into the camcorder so you'll never have to worry about losing it. Also, there's no cord that can dangle into your shots.
