The Toyo-View VX23D View Camera aims itself at professional photographers utilizing digital camera backs. Like most traditional studio view cameras, it has a wide range of movements as which are enhanced by fully-geared movements and finely calibrated scales.
Being a view camera, the VX23D is able to accept not only traditional large format and digital lenses, but is also able with the proper lensboard (sold separately) to accept lenses made for medium format cameras featuring either the Hassleblad H, V or Mamiya 645 mount. Additionally the bellows are bag-type but not restricted to just wide-angle lenses and can handle focal lengths from 45mm to 180mm.
The VX23D is compatible with a standard 2x3" Graflok back (available separately) which allows for live viewing of an image with a digital camera back that is able to provide a live image preview either tethered or on a rear LCD. For digital camera backs that do not have the live view capability, a sliding back is available separately.
