This Monster Cable 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable is an ultra-high performance HD cable with a certified cable bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps. With this high of a throughput, this HDMI 1.3 cable will support the most advanced of devices available currently. In addition, it comes covered with the Cable For Life warranty. It will support up to 1080p video, in 12-bit Deep Color, can transfer up to 8 channels of 192kHz/24-bit sound, and offers the ultimate for those who demand the best in high definition home theater - now and in the future.

This cable meets the HDMI 1.3a specification. In addition to an astonishingly-high capacity of 10.2 Gbps bandwidth (far in excess of the throughput needed for 1080p video), HDMI 1.3a supports 48-bit (RGB or xvYCC) color depth, as opposed to the previous generations' specified 24-bit depth capacity. Over one billion colors can be displayed with such capacity, trademarked as Deep Color.
