The Vivitar F3 Flash Adapter converts the proprietary F3 flash mount to a standard hot shoe mount (non-TTL). This allows for a standard shoe mount flash like the 283 or 285 to be used with the F3 camera.
A rotating lock mechanism securely mounts the flash adapter to the top of the camera's rewind knob.
