Hello!

I need the help picking out the right microphone! I am a video editor and will be making professional videos of my company at a Tradeshow in Vegas. Naturally, they will be talking to potential clients and then there will be some staged interviews and scenes. My company asked me to check out a few mics. I don't want to assume that they will be cheap but given how they have handled my video editing software... they are. SO! I need a mic that will be good for traveling, interviews, live events, and either runs to my Mac or outputs a sound file (not attached to camera/video). What would you suggest that doesnt go past $250?

An audio recorder would be best for your applications. A recorder like the Tascam DR-100mkII will be an excellent option: http://bhpho.to/KlLBdi
