I grew up skiing almost every day, and was on my first pair of skis at age two. The high school I attended in Colorado even let us out at 11:00 a.m. during the winter months, so that we could ski or snowboard every day of the week if we wanted. The point of this little anecdote is to stress how much watching the Winter games still excites me and makes me nostalgic for my years in the mountains.
