Unveiled: Nikon Announces New COOLPIX Point-and-Shoot Cameras

Nikon has just introduced a host of updates to their line of COOLPIX point-and-shoot digital cameras, ranging from a new AW120 rugged model to the advanced P340 to the compact, entry-level S32. These six models cover a broad range of photographers' needs.

Panasonic has jumped out of the gates at CES and announced several new point-and-shoot digital cameras as well as a very fast portrait length Leica lens for Lumix Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The point-and-shoots include advanced compacts, long zooms and entry-level models.

Unveiled: Five New Panasonic HD Camcorders

Panasonic is kicking off 2014 by announcing five new HD camcorders. The new models are the HC-W850, HC-V750, HC-V550, HC-V250, and the HC-V130. The flagship HC-W850 features an innovative Twin Camera function which enables users to capture two scenes at once, opening the door to new creative possibilities.

With the beginning of a new year Canon has announced three new PowerShot point-and-shoots ready to take their place in 2014 as updates to already successful cameras.

Unveiled: New Sony HDR-AS100V and HDR-AS100VR Action Cameras + Live-View Remote Bundle

Sony’s latest Action Cam announcement includes the impressive HDR-AS100V Action Cam and the HDR-AS100VR Action Cam + Live-View Remote Bundle. Both cameras are the same, but the HDR-AS100VR also comes with Sony’s handy Live-View Remote. The HDR-AS100V is designed for shooting in the mountains, water, or anywhere else action sports occur.
