NAMM 2015: M-Audio Announces the M40 and M50 Monitoring Headphones

M-Audio has announced its next-generation audio interface, and it comes in the form of the Thunderbolt-compatible desktop Deltabolt 1212. Designed from the ground up to work with Thunderbolt technology, the interface boasts some impressive specs, including 12 channels of full duplex I/O (including mic pre inputs and 8 channels of line-level inputs on a DB-25 connector). On its conversion front, its DAC supports full 32-bit/192 kHz.

NAMM 2015: M-Audio Breaks Out the New Code Series of Controller Keyboards

M-Audio announced the release of the new Code Series keyboards, available in three sizes; 25, 49, and 61 keys. The family of Code Series controllers features a smooth-feeling, semi-weighted keybed with after-touch, 16 velocity-sensitive pads with LED feedback, and a touch pad for X/Y axis control. Other features include assignable pitch and mod wheels, knobs, faders, buttons (with macro ASCII support), and transport control with Mackie Control and HUI emulation modes. The Code Series is USB powered for portability and ease of use and offers a six-digit LED screen.

Hands-On Review: M-Audio Axiom Air Keyboards

The following video presents Rob Rives demonstrating MIDI controllers from M-Audio’s Axiom A.I.R line. Rives shows us some of the features of the 49- and 25-key models, in addition to the Mini 32. The video illustrates how the included HyperControl software allows for integration with Logic Pro 9, as well as how to re-assign the pads on the 49-key model to a different note.
