15x Zoom Rebates for DSLR-toting Moms

Question of the day - What do you buy a DSLR-toting mom for Mother's Day?

If mom shoots with an APS-C format DSLR from Nikon or Canon you might want to consider Tamron's AF 18-270/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD Asph Macro, a 15x zoom with an 35mm equivalent focal range of 27-405mm on Nikon compact DSLRs and 28.8-432mm on Canon DSLRs.

Ideal as a 1-lens solution for daytripping, outdoor sporting events, and all-around shooting needs, the Tamron AF 18-270/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD Macro lens contains 3 hybrid aspherical lens elements and 2 low-dispersion (LD) glass elements designed to deliver sharp imagery throughout the entire zoom range with minimal on-axis and lateral chromatic aberrations. As its name implies this versatile lens focuses down to 1.6' (49cm), which allows for 1:3.5 magnification close-ups. The Tamron AF 18-270/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD Macro also features advanced vibration-control technologies to better ensure sharp low-light imagery.

And between now and 5/10/10 Tamron will mail you a check for $100 when you register your purchase of this rather versatile lens.

I have had one for several months, its the lens that is always on my camera and I carry the others for special uses. I am useing on a Canon 7D, autofocus works good its well worth the money. The other lens I would use this way would be the L series Canon 28mm to 300mm but it is considerabley more money.
